Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision between two vehicles in Merstham which took place on Tuesday 18 June.
This incident occurred around 8.15am when a blue Renault Mégane and a green Vauxhall Astra collided while traveling along Bletchingley Road.
South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and three people were taken to East Surrey Hospital for treatment. The occupants of the Astra, a 45-year-old local man and a 14-year-old boy, suffered internal injuries and muscular pain.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mégane, a local woman in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment to rib and internal injuries.
None of the injuries at this stage are believed to be life threatening or life changing.
Road closures are in place in the immediate area following the collision while emergency crews attend the scene and recovery for the vehicles are made.
